The Nails


**What are press-on nails?**

Press-on nails are artificial nails that are pre-designed and attached to your natural nails using adhesive tabs or glue. They provide a quick and convenient way to achieve beautiful nail designs without the need for a salon visit.


**How do I choose the right nail size?**

Our press-on nails come in various sizes, so it's important to measure your natural nails accurately. You can refer to our sizing guide, which includes instructions on how to measure your nails, or order a sizing kit. It's better to choose a slightly larger size if you're unsure, as you can file them down for a perfect fit.


**Can I reuse press-on nails?**

Yes, many of our press-on nails can be reused. To maximize their lifespan, gently remove them by soaking in warm soapy water, clean any residual glue, and store them in a safe, dry place. Proper care can extend the life of your press-on nails.


**How long do press-on nails last?**

The duration varies depending on factors like the quality of adhesive used, nail care, and daily activities. Typically, our press-on nails can last from a few days with adhesive tabs to up to two weeks with glue. For longer-lasting results, consider using nail glue instead of adhesive tabs.


**Are press-on nails safe for my natural nails?**

When applied and removed correctly, press-on nails should not damage your natural nails. 


**How do I remove my press-on nails?**

If using liquid glue please remember that with proper application they are meant to last at least 2 weeks, do not try to remove glued on nails anytime before 10 days. If using temporary glue tabs they are safely removed in a bit of warm water and oil.


**Do you offer custom designs or colors?**

Yes, we offer customization options for many of our press-on nail sets. Contact our info@thenailedknitter.com for details on how to create a unique design or color that suits your preferences.


**How do I apply press-on nails?**

   We provide detailed instructions with each application kit. 


**Can I shower or swim with press-on nails?**

   While press-on nails are generally water-resistant, prolonged exposure to water can weaken the adhesive. It's best to avoid extended periods of soaking your nails in water, such as swimming, to maintain their longevity. It’s also best to wear gloves while submerging your hands in water when hand-washing dishes.




The Knits


**Are all your products handmade?**

   Yes, every item in our shop is hand-knitted with care and craftsmanship by our skilled artisans. We take pride in offering high-quality, handcrafted products.


**How do I care for hand-knit items?**

   Hand-knit items require special care. We recommend gentle hand washing in cold water with mild detergent and laying flat to dry. Avoid machine washing, as it can cause pilling and distortion.


**Can I request custom-made items?**

We do not offer custom-made options at this time. 


** What types of yarn do you use?**

   We use a variety of high-quality yarns, including wool, wool-acrylic blends,  cotton, and acrylic. 


**How do I determine my size for clothing items?**

   To find your size, refer to our sizing guide provided on each product page. It includes measurements for different sizes to help you choose the one that fits you best.


Shipping/Delivery


**When will I get my order?**

Usually, it takes 3–7 business days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:

  • USA: 3–4 business days

**Where will my order ship from?**

We work with a print-on-demand drop shipper. They have locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently! Nails and knits will ship from Maryland.


**My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?**

Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:

  • Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
  • Ask your local post office if they have your package
  • Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

Once the product is in transit, we are not responsible for missing, stolen, and/or deliveries to incorrect addresses.


Orders

**How do I track my order?**

You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, please send an email to info@thenailedknitter.com


**I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?**

We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged or you received the wrong product. To help resolve this for you quickly, please send an email to info@thenailedknitter.com within a weeks' time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order.


Returns/Refunds

**What’s your return policy?**

Due to the nature of the products, we do not accept returns.

**Do you offer refunds?**

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please send a message to info@thenailedknitter.com with photos of wrong/damaged items.


**Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?**

At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out the sizing charts or order a sizing kit!
